| Thompson's art through the '40s | |||||||||||||
| After the end of World War Two Nelson Thompson studied for 3 years at Chelsea School of Art on a NZ Govt. Bursary and a further year at London University, to complete his Teaching Degree. As a student, he travelled to Italy and delighted in drawing many of the architectural subjects. His pen and ink studies were done on site, with a freedom revealing his love and confidence in his drawing skills. | |||||||||||||
